Little Cody had a rocky start to his life as his first owner returned him after just 6 weeks. This created a problem for me as my beloved Cooper ( then aged 13.5 years) who was my constant shadow, had just been diagnosed with tonsil cancer. There was no way I could have a young pup leaping all over him, in fact Cooper was the reason that I didn't keep a bitch from Cody's litter. Fortunately Carmen Burgess came to my rescue and took Cody in. He settled in with her lovely, puppy friendly pack of Weimies and spent a few weeks regaining his confidence and having a ball. I will be eternally grateful to Carmen and her family for all they did for this little chap. Then fate played a hand when Steve & Karen lost their old boy Kalimor Firestorm. It was almost as if Cody was meant to be with them and, although at first they were too upset to think about another dog, after a few weeks they expressed an interest in Cody. My initial thought was that they must be mad to consider yet another Kalimor......this would be their 4th......but I was delighted as I knew that I couldn't have wished for a better home for him. So Cody went to live with Steve, Karen, Roo ( Kalimor Kent) and the ginger Ninja, Harvey. The pictures tell the rest of the story. Roo & Harvey have taken to Cody big time and Steve & Karen are remembering all too well what it is like to have a puppy in the house again. Roo has had a new lease of life and plays constantly with his new little friend. Cody's field training is under way and he is showing great promise.
